Syracuse-Virginia basketball Elite Eight game time set for 6:09 p.m. Sunday

Syracuse against Virginia in the Elite Eight will start at 6:09 p.m. on Sunday.

No. 10 seed Syracuse (22-13, 9-9 Atlantic Coast) will face No. 1 seed Virginia (29-7, 13-5) at 6:09 p.m. Sunday in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament. The game will be played at the United Center in Chicago and will be broadcast on TBS.

Syracuse defeated No. 11 seed Gonzaga, 63-60, on Friday in the Sweet 16 thanks in part to a last-second block by Tyler Lydon.

The winner of Syracuse-Virginia will earn a spot in the Final Four in Houston.

Syracuse is the only school to have its men’s and women’s basketball teams advance to the Elite Eight.
