Stats to know for Syracuse men’s lacrosse’s quarterfinal matchup with Maryland

Dylan Donahue and Syracuse will take on Maryland in the quarterfinals of the NCAA tournament on Saturday at noon. UMD beat SU 16-8 the last time these two teams met, which was in 2014.
No. 8 seed Syracuse (12-4, 2-2 Atlantic Coast) will take on top-seeded Maryland (15-2, 5-0 Big Ten) on Saturday at noon in the quarterfinals of the NCAA tournament. The Orange enters after coming from behind to knock off Albany, 11-9, in the first round last weekend. The winner of Saturday’s matchup advances to the Final Four in Philadelphia.
