Wisconsin's Nigel Hayes was one point away from a triple-double. He had 11 rebounds and 10 assists.

Syracuse dropped its second straight game on Tuesday night at No. 17 Wisconsin (6-2). The No. 22 Orange (4-2) lost, 77-60, to the Badgers at the Kohl Center. SU shot just 38.2 percent from the field while Wisconsin converted on 49.2 percent of its field-goal attempts. Syracuse’s point guards struggled to kickstart the Orange’s offense as well.
