Josh Peck to perform at Syracuse University in February

Kiran Ramsey | Senior Design Editor

The comedian will perform in Goldstein Auditorium in the Schine Student Center on Feb. 1.

Actor and comedian Josh Peck will appear at an event sponsored by Syracuse University’s Hillel Jewish Student Union, the organization announced Sunday night.

Hillel will host “An Evening with Josh Peck” on Thursday, Feb. 1, in Goldstein Auditorium at the Schine Student Center. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and the show starts at 8 p.m.

Tickets for the event can be purchased at the Schine Box Office for $3 with a valid SU ID.

Hillel referred to the event as “the cooliest event on campus” — a reference to Peck’s role as Josh Nichols in the popular sitcom “Drake and Josh” — on the group’s Facebook page. The popular TV show aired on Nickelodeon from 2004 to 2007.

After “Drake and Josh,” Peck, who is Jewish, ran a popular Vine account and now uploads regular videos to his YouTube channel. He also has about 2.4 million Twitter followers.

Peck married longtime girlfriend Paige O’Brien in June 2017, and “Drake and Josh” costar Drake Bell was reportedly not invited to the wedding ceremony. The once-famous feud between the onscreen brothers has apparently since been resolved.
